Include all the details
In order for us to provide the most accurate quote, we need to know *all* about your project. When requesting a quote for subtitles, please tell us the approximate length of the video, the language(s) required, and any ideas of budget.

When quoting for voice-overs, we base all costs on the script(s) you require recording. Including your scripts and/or their word count will enable us to give you the most precise quote we can.
It’s also important to tell us which languages you need, and what your delivery expectations are, so we know whether you’ll want audio files, or the recording mixed to a video, implemented to a PPT, or integrated into your e-learning platform.
Describing the style and tone of the voice artist you want will help us provide appropriate demos for you to browse, and help give us more of an idea about rates. Lastly, don’t forget to let us know whether you’ll require live direction during the recording, and how the audio will be used – is it for an explainer, a TV ad, a podcast…?
Including details of how the recording will be used will also help us determine whether usage fees will apply. In short, sometimes additional fees will be charged alongside the standard recording fee if the recording will be used to generate profit.

Much like with voice-over recordings, it’s also helpful to know the delivery spec you’ll be expecting – do you want the subtitles fully burnt in, or would you prefer a subtitle file such as SRT or VTT?
