How we work

Adobe After Effects is the industry leading solution for creating sophisticated motion graphics and cinematic visual effects in video. Matinée’s video translation engineers are experts in Adobe After Effects translation and have the skills to localise video content and animations in any language.  We also support most other video editing and animation software used by our customers, and we have provided video translations using source files in Final Cut Pro, AVID, Adobe Flash, Adobe Premier, Camtasia, PowerPoint and more.

Independent video producers talk about the reasons why they come to Matinée Multilingual.
It’s for the expertise of the staff, the range of services, and the superb customer service.

Do you have a question about our video production and animation services?
Check out our frequently asked questions to see if you can find the answer…

What video services do you offer?

We offer a complete range of video production and animation services; from creating the concept and creative treatment to filming, editing, encoding and hosting. We’ll make your vision a reality.

Whether you want to turn a presentation into a video; film a speech given by your CEO; turn images into motion graphics or film on location, we have a skilled team of creative producers, camera crew, and video editors available from our studios based in Reading, Berkshire, UK.

What video editing software do you use?

We primarily edit in Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects, but we also have an AVID editing suite and many more programmes that we utilise as required.

How do you translate video?

If you need to completely reversion all the video content, including the captions, on-screen text, animations and audio, we’ll ideally need the source files. That is the project file from the software the video was originally created in, e.g. Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, AVID etc.

Without the source files, it is still possible to localise the video, but it will be more difficult and it won’t give the translated videos the same polish as the original.

We can transcribe and translate all the text and audio into over 80 languages, rebuild the video and animations and re-encode and deliver in any file format.
