WeCreate are a creative branding agency based in Hong Kong. As part of the brand design strategy for AXA Asia Group, they created a series of eLearning videos.
All the speakers in the videos are English, so they required Indonesian Bahasa subtitles to translate the messages for their staff based in Indonesia. Indonesia is one of the most densely populated regions in the world, making Indonesian Bahasa one of the most widely spoken languages.
To ensure the subtitles didn’t cover the title/name captions, we opted for the subtitles to appear on one line with a semi-transparent blue background, which matched the AXA Asia brand guidelines nicely. This short clip shows how effectively the subtitles can fit into a video, with a bit of planning.
