A motivational conference opener was required to reinforce the image of AMO (Advanced Medical Optics) as the leading provider of refractive technologies. It also introduced their brand new product: Intensive Tears.
The strap-line: Vision for Life was key to the whole production. And the fact that AMO strives to improve vision and comfort for contact lens wearers, meant that we needed to incorporate the importance of human values. Firstly, a visual storyboard was drawn up to help explain and agree the treatment.
The resulting two-minute opener used actors, 3D modelling and animated light strands to link the sections. The actors were shot on blue screen and combined with new backgrounds, shadows and light streaks revealing animated text in After Effects. A specially composed music track incorporating the lyrics ‘Vision for Life’ was powerful in bringing the whole and message programme together.
The client’s comment was: “Matinée have done a wonderful job on this video production, and I think we can all take pride in this!”
